The new Weezer song sucks. You've lost your touch, Rivers.

I'm so picky with my reading. I think I shocked my magazine II professor a little today when I said I didn't enjoy either article passed out to us (one was on two ROTC students here at the UO, the other was about the guys who started CollegeHumor.com). It's just my thing: if something I read doesn't engage me, I get bored FAST and I'm done with it. I really don't even bother. That's why I have trouble reading the majority of what I'm assigned in college. It's all plain and dull garbage sold to you for $50-100 a pop; how is this a learning device? If anything I'd say you learn not to waste your money on trite 20th Edition books that you use as a literary Nyquil.

We were assigned some little writing thing today in class that said to go somewhere isolated for 30 minutes or so and write about what you see and witness. I'm not even going to bother; I'll write about me driving in my car or something and just make stuff up. Isolation helps me write, sure, but not when I'm under a 2-day deadline and it means part of my grade. Forget that shit.

Jessica Alba in a cowboy hat, bra and chaps = Uhhhhhhhhh.

Time to watch the national championship basketball game. It better be good.
