St. Louis Fair and Airshow 9/02/07
Pics from the St. Louis Fair and Airshow. I didnt take that many pictures because I not only showed up at the end of the actual air show performance (only to see the last 10 or so minutes of the Blue Angels) and on top of that, my batteries were nearly drained (after forgetting to charge them before we left KC) and my camera kept warning me as such. I did manage to get a few shots and a video of the Blue Angels, as well as a suprise static display of a vintage Junkers Ju52 medium transport plane. Anyone who knows me knows I have some weird thing for WWII history and Nazi history in particular. Walking through this plane was fascinating as was seeing a US Navy Grumman Avenger up close and seeing its folding wing in action.
