What I Did on Writing Vacation
I've done a whole lot of nothing the past two weeks. I watched way too much MSNBC and did a lot of channel surfing. It's nice to not have to worry about writing, but I also feel sort of aimless. After all the writing I've done in the past year, I can't imagine spending all my time like this.
On the list of bad things, I had a cold last week, just in time for my birthday -- which I spent on the couch after working all day with a runny nose and an aching body. Also, Charles has gone extra crazy and I'm still not sure what the hell is going on, but I guess he's getting help.
On the good side, I got over my cold in time for my party on Saturday, where I played Rock Band 2 for five hours. I love Rock Band. Last weekend we went to Screamtown, which was also part of my birthday, and that was fun too. Last Saturday we did the totally awesome Zombie Pub Crawl which I'm definitely doing again next year. A bunch of drunk people dressed as zombies and saying 'brains' to everyone? Loads of fun.
