I wasn't sure about this pairing, but I really love how you went about it.

I'm pretty new to writing femeslash, and very new around the headcannons of what the Slytherin girls would look like. (Before the movies, I had pictured Pansy as a blonde.) But I like what you did with it and how she got Andromeda's interest with it, but how she could see it wasn't her in so many other ways. I like how their sisters are what is bringing them together.

Well it is a rare and somewhat very unexpected pairing! But I love these two characters and the headcanon I have for them really fits it.
I always pictured Pansy with black or brown hair, and Daphne as a blonde. Astoria I used to dreamcast as Leighton Meester, but now I imagine her blonde as well, so... a blonde Leighton Meester :D Andromeda would be Rachel Weisz, Bellatrix can stay HBC (too good), and I'm never sure for Narcissa. I like Helen McCrory, but it's not quite how I pictured Narcissa when reading the books. She certainly inhabited the part greatly though.
I have ridiculously elaborate headcanon about Daphne. And Daphne/Pansy. I really like her.

This pairing was very intriguing to me (never read it before) but you made it work perfectly. I loved your version of Daphne, and it's nice to see a character with hazel eyes for once :) Good story - it was sweet but with that edge of darkness.

I think it's only been written twice or thrice before, maybe (someone wrote it for me in a fest, and claimed one of my prompts at another fest -- I was overjoyed!). Hazel eyes!!! I agree, we see too little of it and what a shame! I love brown eyes as well (not that I don't like green eyes or blue eyes, but idk, when I was a kid everyone said brown eyes were the least pretty and I disagree, I think all colours can look really stunning). I did go for bittersweet, and I'm glad it worked for you! Thank you ^-^

OMG, I could have sworn I'd commented to this already! I'm so sorry for the delay; I read it right when it was posted and squealed forever over it (I'm still pretty new to shipping Andromeda/Daphne and OMG now you really made me love them a lot more :D) so I really don't know why it took me so long to finally comment <.< >.> Anyway, thank you so, so much for this, mystery author! I really adored it so much; I love that you included both POVs, Andromeda's and Daphne's and... Can I just say that it was perfect? It was so incredibly well written, so sad and yet so beautiful. You portrayed Andromeda's as well as Daphne's emotions so well and the development of their relationship is simply amazing. Generally, this whole piece is simply amazing and I think I've read it three or four times now ever since it's been posted as well as now and it definitely wasn't the last time!

I'm really glad you liked it!!! I loved writing this, and I put some thought into respecting some of the headcanon you discussed with me (I've referenced Druella according to what you told me you imagined about her, for instance). OMG, how could I be disappointed about a pairing that we basically kind of semi-invented(ish)? :D I absolutely adored it and I honestly started thinking it could be you with the burgundy dress part (and the actual pairing itself as well, haha!) :D It was simply perfect, thank you so much again, love ♥

Haha true, we did came up with that pairing a little bit out of nowhere, fangirling over Andromeda and Daphne ^_^ Hehe I totally thought you might figure it out, but oh well :') Tbh, if it hadn't been me, it could have been someone else who had consulted me about your headcanon (like I did for Rhane when she had to write for you and I was her beta ^^)
