Back in I think spring, maybe late winter, I went in to the doctor for a routine physical. Everything came out great. The one memorable part though, was that they weighed me in at over 200 pounds. It was the first time I had ever come close to surpassing 200, and here I was, at 202. And for a guy 5'5", 200 means a whole lot more than it does to a 6'3" guy.
Weighed in at one of the places I play basketball today. I'm at 187. I was around 197 six weeks ago. I can tell you I was surprised when the scale only went into the 30s and not the 40s. Plus, I was 200 with little to, probably more accurately, no muscle mass. I have no idea how much muscle mass I've put on. The last couple of weeks I haven't done much with my amazing two 10 pound dumbbells, so that may account for the 10 I last more quickly than the 7 or 8 I lost in two to three months.
I still stand to lose another twenty in fat. Maybe hope to gain another five to ten in muscle. 175 seems to be a goal right now.
