We're considering various mobile phone options, and I therefore have a question for the masses: how is your phone service in Wales? Which carrier do you use ( Read more... )

Agreed! Right now I'd say that my Verizon phone is generally okay, and my work phone (Sprint) is generally roaming, but it'd be easier for me to confirm that when I'm out there.

I am also a current Verizon user and have had no issues out there that I can recall. Then again, I am not a current smartphone user...

At&t has been working pretty well in the past, least from the main building. I've not had a chance to try from the more out of the way corners of the site though.

Verizon is usually decent (2-3 bars) out at the house.

I have T-Mobil and get NOOOOOTHIIIIIIING. Of course, I haven't bothered checking recently, but last I checked I got no service at all.
