Much Needed update...by yours truly...
Alright...so it has been awhile. My exams are just around the corner...and so are a few essays here and there. Course, most of my essays are fun. Actually, out of the 5 I have due...only 2 I need done before the end of school...The rest are due between now and the end of exams...which is a load off my mind. Also, interestingly enough, I have a jury. Jury? Jury is when they force you to sing in front of somebody at the end of the year for a singing class...Fortunately, most of my grade is based on my development throughout the year and not the performance itself...It is still nerve wrecking though. I am also going to be signing a lease for next year at the new apartment...YAY APARTMENT!! It makes me happy. I realized now that I technically only have a year to go and then I am outta this stupid place. I can't wait. I am hoping to get into the Master's Media program at Concordia...whether that will happen or not is a different story. I was stupid enough to fail one class my first semester. When I say fail, I mean that I never handed in the 2 papers that were each worth 50% of my overall mark. Stupid of me? Yes it was. However I have been told that I can retake the class and only the better mark will count. I like this idea. Also I have been told that said teacher is a pussycat...Chances are I probably could get him to give me the essay topics and hand them in sometime during the summer. Course, I am rather embarrassed with the entire thing...especially since it has taken me a little over a year for me to get the nerve to go and talk to him...I know that worse comes to worse I can retake the class, but that would be a hassle cause I would get stuck with something like seven classes...Or I have to take a 6 credit year course instead of a 2 credit... So I guess I am going to go talk to him soon...probably sometime before the semester ends. I know I should get to it...but I want to make sure I have most of my stuff done...meaning 2 of the 5 essays... That way Easter week I can work on the last 3 PLUS those 2 essays...if he doesn't give me enough time... and then I can ask my friend Jim for help. In other news... I will be leaving May 6th for my dad's house...which means a full summer's work. Fortunately, Anthony is coming down to visit...which makes me happy...especially since he is going to try to come down for my birthday. Other than that, I have to send my American tax forms today. I tried to have them done electronically...but because I worked here in Canada...it got rejected...so I gotta send it in the old fashioned way. As a result I gotta walk into town today and send it by air-mail as soon as possible... I don't want to get in trouble with the IRS. Anyways, that it for now folks...
