I must admit the cookout exceeded by fairly low expectations. The band as well. I enjoyed the Elvis covers...though perhaps something slower as well, next time? I prefer to dance to slow songs

Hey, you got a request in mind, put it in. Rocketbilly knows a ton of old songs...I mostly do a totally different style, but late,ly I've been really lovin' the stuff.

Have you ever heard Raga, Agrabah-style? There's some fast and some slow...it's all up to the whim of the sitarrist, really. Pretty freeform, and you really get the full range of appreciating the sympathetic resonance that way.
Ah...unfortunately, never heard of it. I'll have to run that by the band to see if any of them have.
No? It's a desert world pretty big on that stuff. They've got great street market bands and buskers there. Come up on the roof and listen sometime, while I'm on-duty.

I've heard a few raga pieces before, but I'm afraid "Agrabah" doesn't ring a bell...but I'd be happy to listen, of course.
