You know that little halloween parade thing anoka does down main street every year about this time? Well Bob's Produce decided to enter this year and I was Dumb Enough to volunteer to join it.. *Bangs head on desk*
Yeah... so I got to the store yesterday morning at about 8:30.. and started helping Mike, Tom, Amy, Jenny, and Ryan put together the float (which I will post pics of for you happy little people), which we finished with at like eleven.. and after that we headed over to the park place where they were setting up all the other floats, and waited.. in the cold rain.. for 3 Hours....
AARRRRGGGG!!!! It SUCKED!! >:O
Ehhh.. yeah so anyhoo.. we waited there for like 3 hours, and while we were waiting Amy and jenny ordered pizza, which was yummy. And then we waited some more. Finally about 2:45 we started to move and got out onto the street with the float.
Once we were on the street, I got off the float and started ATTEMPTING to hand out fliers for the store. A will tell you right now.. A guy dressed up as the grim reaper does not have much luck handing out fliers.. especially when I was told to target OLD People that fear death! Thanks amy.. great advice there. >:/
So I gave up on the fliers and talked Jessie into handing them out instead. I then grabed a bucket of candy and started handing that out. and you know.. kids dont care about the damned grim reaper, all they care about is there damn candy! Heck even the cute little highschool girls were grabbin for it! that was sooo much better then the fliers. Like 10 minutes later she comes up to the float and states "Handing out fliers Sucks!" and I just sit there like.. Yup. :P
In all the parade lasted about 40 minutes... 40 minutes after 3 HOURS Of Waitng!! AARRGG!!!! >:O

mmmk yea... so tonight I got all dressed up in the reaper costume again and headed over to ryans.. and then over to Katies, then we wandered around for a couple hours, and then I stoped in at work and pestered them for a little while.
Yay.

Piccies of da float thingy:
