pick up the pen

I've wondered about what a journal, or a webjournal, says in the end about a person. How much do I trust a notebook, a diary with clasped lock, or a website more or less than a friend? I like to think that I write stuff down to organize my thoughts - but the faster they come, the later in the night they come, the more disorganized they are. Ah, such is life.

So I went to Berkeley last weekend for an a cappella competition with Out of Context and Mt. Kare in the San Bernadino National Forest Mountains the weekend before with the Caltech Christian Fellowship, and it was wholly worth the time/sleep/learning deficit that I'm experiencing now. I'm just breaking ground on this journal again. If anyone's interested in seeing digital video recordings of our performance at Berkeley and the Fluid Dynamics performance at USC, it's here.

The hits (homework sets) just keep on coming, but I'd much rather learn some guitar songs...
#41: DMB
Romance Du Amour: Traditional
Crepusculo Sul Mare: Ocean's 12 Soundtrack
... and arrange some songs for a cappella ...
Beer: Reel Big Fish
Take On Me: Reel Big Fish

Quote from Stephen Hawking:
"I want to share my excitement and enthusiasm [about science]. There's nothing like the Eureka moment, of discovering something that no one knew before. I won't compare it to sex, but it lasts longer."
