Draco glared at the owl that had interrupted him while he was preparing some potions ingredients for Severus, but he worked faster when he recognised that it was Greg's owl. He finished his job quickly but efficiently. He washed his hands, and unrolled the parchment. There were stains of chocolate covering some of the words and something that looked suspiciously like strawberry jelly.
Draco,
I'm owling to tell you that I'm not owling. It's not that I forgot how but you said to owl when he came back and he hasn't so I haven't but sometimes I forget stuff and I didn't this time so I just wanted you to know.
Greg
He smiled a little at the message. It was so much like Greg, however the meaning wiped the smile off is face. Theo should have been back at school by now. It wasn't like him to skip school, even if he complained about them. He was worried after the way Theo had reacted the night before, and Severus's warning only made things worse. He left a note, telling Severus that he was going to Theo's house, before Apparating there.
The elf that greeted him was trembling even more than usual, and he was mumbling about blood. It took few questions and a couple of treats to find out that the blood hadn't been Theo. The idea that Theo had been out there doing Lord knows what scared him, but Theo was healthy, at least physically.
After that he went directly to the dungeon. As much as he hated the place, someone needed to get Theo out of the room. When his eyes fell on his lover, he froze at the door. "God-" He shook his head, and stepped inside. He stretched a hand toward Theo's wand without touching it. "When you are upset, you're supposed to rant and go shopping. Now, give me that wand, and let's get you cleaned up." It always helped to focus on the practical stuff, they could deal with the mess from the day before later.
