Too many limitations
I have been meaning to e-mail some people but I cannot access my Yahoo mail from work. I don't know how they blocked that mailing system and allowed access to the main site. Anyway, that is my main e-mail address and it is also where all my contact information is. I'm usually distracted when I get home and forget. Sorry. :( I have access to hotmail but none of the contact information for my friends is there so I can't use it. It's also a junk e-mail account so I try not to put my friends information there anyway. I just wanted to put that out there. I am not liking MySpace or Facebook all that much. There are too many distractions and advertisements. And I am really hating all those little fake quizzes that they put up. Case in point, the IQ tests. It shows the people in my friends list and their scores and challenges me to beat their score. First off, I am intelligent enough to notice that several people have different scores at different times. Second, I used to give IQ tests and I know you can't get an accurate IQ rating with just ten questions. Third, how stupid do you think I am to give an organization my personal telephone number so they can send me the results. People can use that information to charge things to your phone especially if they can get your electronic approval. So bugger off to the quizzes. MySpace is just annoying with everyone that you don't know from somewhere across the country wanting to be your friend. Is there some kind of contest? The one with the most friends draws the most bandwidth and shuts the network down? I'd thought I would drop by somewhere things are the way I like and say hi.
