So...out of curiosity, has anyone seen Advent Children, y'know, legally? I ask because it occurs to me that Square is going to be pissed when they make no money off this, since it seems to me no one is patient enough to wait for it to come out in cinemas or on DVD.
So, if you did download it, go to cinema and watch it when it comes out. Otherwise, Square will cry.
I admit, I'm not the best person to talk about violating copyright. My Playstation had a whole lot of copied games for it, many of them American. However, I'm now more or less clean unless the item in question is A) horribly overpirced for what it is or B) several years or versions old. In fact, the only thing I have is Photoshope from 1998 I think. Oh, and music, but I own most of the songs on disc now. I actually bough Demon Days so I could write to Feel Good Inc. and have no regrets doing so. I decided ripping off my favorite companies was probably the wrong way to do things. Since I have money, and the patience of a stone in many things, I get the real thing when it becomes cheaper.
Of course, when I say 'many things' I mostly don't mean games, which I intend to start buying from America with regular monotomy once someone voulnteers to be help me out. I might have to rely on my mother in law for this, but I'd really rather not.
Naturally, I claim this is purely because it's cheaper to buy and fly games from the states than it is to pick them up in the UK. And while this is true, the idea of getting a game several months early warms my evil little heart.
But Advent Children? I'm waiting for that to hit DVD. I'm actually being a good boy with it. So if anyone reveals unto me spoilers, I will be forced to kill them.
My only mild regret is by the time I see it, my favorite character is bound to be taken in all the RP's that'll spring up like mushrooms. C'est la vie. I'm busy playing at a single, yet kick ass RP site anyway. It's a fantasy realm with several hundred players, and it is good. Unless you don't like fantasy, in which case I may be forced to never speak to you again
