I'm not so sure about that; I believe I read in a book of interviews this one, and others are about his father.
Of course, there is the story that _In a Little While_, "the song about a hangover, was the song that Joey Ramone had on repeat on his own death bed.
Nevertheless, both songs were on my mix-cd for my dad.
