I'm trying to do something with my interest in San Francisco Chinese born in the 1920s and 1930s, especially thru thinking about Victor Wong's life as a Beat, Chicago Second City Theater member, Ethnic Studies documentarian, Hollywood Orientalized nutcase, and etc.
His life reminds me a lot of Paul Chow - my Angel Island guy, some similarities to Him Mark Lai, and the other Chinese American men in my family.
There is something to be thought about and written here...
