I wanted to challenge myself, so I'm taking up wrting
30_kisses for Itachi and Sakura from Naruto. It's one of the most irrational fandoms out there, I'll admit, and my brother is grating on my nerves b/c Itachi is his favorite character and apparently me and all my fangirl kind are butchering him >.> Oh well...onto the fic ^.^

Child, do you love?  Do you need love…

Sakura clutches this bloody and beautiful child to her chest and cries.  They are hard, primal sounds that tear from her throat, so harsh and so rough for the first things falling on newborn ears.

With this child comes the undoing, not only of the rough red seams that hold together her doll-body, but of the tiny shreds of her world that she’s learned to call happiness.  With this beautiful, beautiful girl is the destruction, the rending, the fracture.  After her is…

She cannot let herself think about it, because it would be so easy to hate her, this ivory and ink creature looking at her.  She sobs-gasps and with a desperate near-fury she presses her lips to that cool and soft skin, still sticky and tasting like bitter blood.  She brands her with this love, forces it upon her, suffocates her and those eyes still regard her with the same fathomless gaze.

You are your father’s child…

She cradles her apocalypse, gently gently, bloody and white and shadow in the moonlight.  The child turns her head, and the eyes catch the gleam from the garnet red stone set on her mother’s stained finger.  Sakura sees the glow of Sharingan, and her twisted emotion makes it more than the moon’s illusion.  She laughs in a cracked sound like broken glass.

“Oh Tsukiyo, my beautiful Tsukiyo…”
