Do I dare disturb the universe?
I talked to Amber for a while tonight. I brought her the new Anthony Green cd, which I knew she'd want and I had actually got it for a decent price earlier in the day. Despite it being our first direct communication in over a week, things went really well and she seemed generally content with seeing me. We talked for about 20 or 30 minutes before she decided to head inside and get some more work done. Regardless, just that little bit of contact made me feel a lot better. She hasn't forgotten I exist, she's just trying to survive too. She has her ups and downs, which in a backwards sort of way, makes me feel a little better. A little more sane I guess. No one needs to read this, I just don't want to forget it.
I have really enjoyed doing nice things for people lately. A lot.
Still reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. I must insist on every person I know reading this book. Sooo good.
Also been really into watching Bill O'Reilly interviews with certain people. Really good ones include Stephen Colbert, John Stewart, Bill Mahur, Jenna Jameson, and Marilyn Manson.
And finally, watching House with Derek. I'm almost done watching season 1 and I'm fairly sure I'll be renting season 2. Good call whoever told me I should watch this show.
