Re: Here's a much delayed update
I've been meaning to write this post for weeks, so I'm starting from this draft I saved last week... I'm bad at this, lately, I know, right! -v-__v-

I hope deedlelu has had an enjoyable birthday celebration and I would like to wish alexlunar&boul_chan a happy birthday!

So, what have I been up to lately aside from working?
Matt quit working with us last week, so we hired LauryMDragon back and I'm glad we did. I managed to finish earlier on the days this week she was working. But on one day she had off, I kind of overworked myself and the next day, I had a huge fibro crisis where I ached so much everywhere that I had to hold back my tears and screams from the customers for hours on end. It was Hell! And to top it off, I had my periods start 6 days earlier than usual, due to stress and strain... I told my boss that since we were fully staffed now and that we had enough food made already, that the next day I'd sleep until I woke up on my own, so I couldn't tell what time I'd officially come in.I'm lucky, my boss in a really really understanding guy (at times? LOL)
I got there at 1h30pm... But I felt all nice and rested and I went out with my friends to L2 and I enjoyed myself and I felt like I was a musical character, that was nice. I slept over at my own Shrek's place because my lift got a sudden stomach pain (she has intestinal issues that she takes strong medicine for), so I let her go back home instead of having to make the extra distance to drop me off at my folks'. So yeah Pilou/Shrek and I had multiple convos at once, very geekish subjects like the videogames they're currently working on at his job that they're about to release , but it was majorly about his cat and the fact that he's pissed because the girls he grows fond of always want to date Asian men and he's neither Asian nor a skimpy thin and tall androgyneous guy. And to sum up our "relationship", I guess I mean "Pure Morning" to him (you know, like the song by Placebo )...
For the 2 weeks following his week off, Unicorn was really nice to work with. He told me he went to detox therapy and they gave him antidepressants to help him cope. But this week, I guess they ran out because one day, he looked at me with murderous eyes because I'd sold a latte to a customers almost 10 minutes before closing time and he told me "I just cleaned the expresso machine!", so I said "Ok, I'll do it and reclean the machine, then, so he snaped at me "move, I'll do it" and he hasn't really talked to me since... I regret not having taken the picture of him on Halloween day. He came to work with two mohawk rows in his hair that he colored red (with food coloring). The boss told him he needed to put a net on, so he ended up looking like the had the Golden Gate on his head, it was so funny!
Last weekend was Halloween. I was supposed to go Trick-or-treating with Nick, but he got "kidnapped" by the back fence neighbours to tag along with them and their kids, so I spent the night having chinese fondue and red wine while watching James Bond : Casino Royale with my folks. Far from being my favorite JB, but it was still more enjoyable than the last one I saw. Nick was dressed as Frankenstein and althought it rained, he came back home perfectly made up like I'd done him before he left, I was in awe at the makeup staying power! Then, the whole lost of his friends from the appartments buildings accross the fence and their parents came to request his presence for a pizza/popcorn& cinema night they were having at one of Nick's friends place, so I let him go.
The week before that, we went bowling, a bunch of lolitas from the QC-Harajuku forum and friends and I. I made new friends <3. I wanted to be all over the place at once, too many friends is tiresome, although very enjoyable, to keep having conversations with. It was a night of epic things. I'm glad everybody loved my hair and the curls held although the weather was London-y. I had bad scores, so I made a rule in my alley that whoever sent the ball in the "ditch" had to do a dance. If I was going to be a lame player, I'd better make up for it by being entertaining to be forgiven... My strategy worked well with Fanny, Odore and Setsu. In our team were also another Fanny, Yueri (ex violina_sama). I was afraid the meeting of Yueri and Chris was going to be a mess like the one between Mad and Gurn, but it went fine and they joked around together all night, whichboth pleased me and eased my mind. I guess being in Montreal helps Yueri a lot, her mood has brightened a lot since she moved to the university's residences.

My friend Fannie (Chris's girlfriend) made a group order for Bodyline clothing. I ordered for a couple hundred dollars worth of 6-40$ ranged items. I'll get RED shoes!
I was supposed to pick them up yesterday, but she had forgotten them at home and hadn't gotten my reply email before she got home that night, so she stormed in the metro station where I'd been waiting for her and didn't hear me call her name and wrote me an apology letter. I ended up playing Tai-play and Trivia games at L2 and going home.
I spoke with my sister on Skype for the first time since she left for Japan today. I emailed her and sent her notes on Facebook a couple times, but Jazz is much more of a vocal communications type or person, having studied music and communications in college, so she's much more volubile on Skype than on any other media... I was nice, we spoke for over 40 minutes together about various things like how she adapted and OMG, she now knows who ARASHI are! I'm a pleased fan :D
She wants me to find a way to send her local cheese so she can make poutine for Yuji's parents (Yuji is her friend she meet in Montreal who was studying French (he's damn good at it, too!) and he lives near from her university so she lived with him at his parents for a couple days before she got her room at uni). My friend Odore told me that they have poutine in Tokyo, but my sister claims they don't have any in or nearby Osaka. They don't have her shampoo nor hairdye shade either, it seems, so I'll have myself a hell of a hard time filling in those customs documents to ship them to her as a Xmas present... Shopping with mom, we foudn her dye today, need to find a cheese producer that'd be willing to give us a certificate of origin and shit for the cheese and to shop some more for the shampoo. I think I might ship some maple syrup to her too, she might miss it, who knows... Oh, and I'll copy some of mom's recipes for her too, although I'm pretty sure she's tried a bunch of them already when she was living with Alex and/or Eric..
@Yume_Ninja My sister meet a Hmong girl in Kansai Gaidai! (Her university in Hirakata, near Osaka). She was all surprised when I told her that I knew what "Hmong" was. So thanks for being my friend and broadening my horizons and allowing me to not seem like a stupid idiot in the eyes of my onee-chan!
So, I'm currently working on planning my trip to Quebec City on November 29th with the bunch of lolitas and Harajuku fashion lovers over there at Galleries de la Capitale, a huge shopping mall with interior rides and they have a skating rink, too. It'll be my 2nd time EVER going there, last time was very brief with my parents when I was in high school and my cousin Jean-Sébastien (the one who got married last summer) was in university and had lent us his appartment. I have an issue. I looked for the bus rides and they don't have any direct St-Hyacinthe/QC rides on Sunday to go there and only one to come back . I guess I'll have to sleep at Shrek's again! LOL
