Congratulations to Izumi
kuroi_izumi for showing up on
Méta's customer's page. I sent a couple pictures of my and my lucky pack outfits and I never landed there :(
Aside from that, well, the café re-hired me part-time and they found another café almost just accross the street from the same banner to take me for the other half of the time so I might be working almost 50 hours a week starting this coming monday, so don'T be surprised I won't have the energy to show up at L2 and socialize with people much before Xmas. When Xmas comes, well, I might change schedule, so we'll see. If you wanna come to my place, I will be there after 6:30pm and before 6am because I will now start working at 7, have lunch break at 1, start at the other coffee shop at 2pm and help close it at 5pm...
My paternalk grandfather might be dying soon. His diabetes worsened, he has been in the hospital the past week and a half. He had two heart attacks in two days, and today, he didn't even address my granny although she spent all of visiting hours with him. The nurses had to tie him down earlier today, because he would just tear everything off ( bedsheets, tubes, diaper, etc..). Doctor said there was not really anything more he could do aside from numbing his pain... So we're preparing to let him go when he's ready to leave us... :(
It's sad, my grandpa was a lively character, on the quiet side, but he was a prankster and he enjoyed life while he could, but we'll miss him if he goes... One of my most vivid memories of him was from when I was a kid. He used to own a bright red 1939 International Harvester truck that he called the "Truck-o'tune" (well, "truck à chansons", in French) because he'd trick us kids into thinking that the truck ran on our singing tunes rather than on fuel, so we would sing our hearts out... He sold the truck a couple years ago because he was tired of renewing plates and insurances and he didn't use it all that... little did we know it was because he was going blind, his pride refused to let us know...
Aside from that, for my Anime and Asian drama watching friends, I've found another ressource besides Crunchyroll.com, and that would be Veoh.com. You download the VeohTV software and you subscribe to channels and the thingy will download the videos for you when they're in your library, it will allow you to play a whole series in order (episode 1, part1, episode 1, part 2, episode 2 part1, etc...)and directly on the website, you have a kinda "youtube" function that lets you previews the 20 first minutes. They have series that have been taken of Crunchyroll, too...
I've watched Kimi Wa PEtto this week. It start Matsu Jun in it and I think that's the role he had that seems the most suitable to his real personnality, artistic and playful and pettable! LOL
Although, I did like the role he had in Gokusen, too, I found his personalisation of Tsubasa kinda bad in HYD, but that's probably an issue of how the character was translated from the manga to the drama rather than poor acting...
I also started watching Brown Sugar Macchiato, but up to now, only the 1st episode has been fanssubbed, so I need to wait for the next release, but I've fallen in love with the concept already...
Plus, isn't it a good name of series to watch for a girl working in a coffee shop?
Here'stwo memes I took today...
