Xmas MiJ/Montreal_Loli "party" (warning, photo heavy under the cut!)
So, yesterday, after having babysat Nick and dressed up, I dropped him at my granny's and took the 16h16 bus to Longueuil. Then I switched to the metro and at Berri, I mistakenly took the green line instead of the yellow one and when I noticed, the wagon was at Beaudry so I switched direction, went back to Berri and took the Orange line towards Cote-Vertu to drop of at Places-D'Armes and go meet everyone. I was so glad my ringlets held almost all day long. Everybody liked my hair! :)
I still managed to arrive a whole hour earlier than I had promised to be. It's too bad that many people that wanted to come couldn't make it. I was glad to see everyone that came, it had been since Julie B's birthday since I saw any of you!
I talked a bit with Lisa kotori99 was there and we talked a bit but it seems she left too early to have a long conversation with. Someone complimented me about my eyebrows and everybody started to say "hum hum, it's true!", and I guess that's the most random positive thing I'd been told in ages...
I finally meet Pierrot le_livre_noir IRL! And I was happily surprised that he turned out very charming and handsome (although he seems to not see that, it's a shame to see nice people always depreciating themselves, it crushes my heart every time!) and more talkative than I had expected although since he was sitting at the other table, it took a while before I could talk to him and then, Hugo (Why can I never remeber his LJ id?!?) & Matt mindgizmowizard were all out about things and they were doing most of the talking... But I like chatting with them, it's a change from uneducated "pot'culture" people from my hometown. Damn I miss having someone knowledgeable to talk to!!! I guess that's really what I miss the most about my ex, the hours of scientific explanations randomness when we couldn't sleep and communicating about something interesting and motivating and
I made a new friend: François jhonj who lives in St-Bruno and studies in "Dessin de bâtiments". He was really nice and he accompanied me back to Longueuil station (finally someone to talk to when I leave the Island!) and he stayed and chatted and paused until about 2 minutes before his bus' departure. He was the first guy-guy (because Alex has a special status and I so try to not say "him" but it just slips out every time, "Baka" me!!!) to borrow my mooks without being asked if interested or watching over his girlfriend's shoulders (he just lost his so he has none at the moment... Youhou, my first single guy my age I meet since this summer! LOL)
dreaming0robotgave me a poster with all the 2000-some kanjis you need to know to read a news paper (including the kanas) and Julie BAudience0Killer gave me the purple Hello Kitty cellphone charm designed by Novala Takemoto in violet to match the black one I already had (although she didn't know I had one already, but I think it's cool because I ADORE violet and purple! :) ) that came with a Pour Lolita charm I didn't have with my other one and also a pink Hello Kitty key shapped charm for my keyring. Lovely gifts! I so didn't expect to receive gifts other than hugs and friendship yesterday! Julie inherited the infamous Meta jsk I had originally bought for myself and I didn't fit in and it looks stunning on her!!! I'll try to make her a bolero to put over since it's cold without sleeves! She had brought her dollfie boy and we messed around with it. We discovered Aki-san has a real hidden parenting talent and we had a good time chatting together and trying to pick something in the menu for me to eat and drink... I stared at it for like an hour before I finally decided what I wanted... But for my defense, I'll say that there were people talking to me meanwhile so my eyes and mind drifted off from the menu to my interlocutors often... Aki played with Agarik a lot too and even served as a photographer for him, it was fun!
It's a good think I brought Julie PShiroi_Yuffie's skirt to have her try it on before I make the top and install the zipper because it seems I made it a whole tier too long or almost. So yeah, more fabric for matching accessories! :)
I also gave her some of the leftover fabric and lace so she can make herself a matching headress during her vacation in Gaspésie because Pierre kept telling me how boring his hometown is before he left...
Ariane chibi_hoshi looked special with her "Xmas tree" looks, but I like when she showcases that crazy side of hers that I love her (as a friend, that is, don't make yourselves ideas! LOL) for...
Alexalexlunar looked stunning as usual and was really talkative and Séi shinshinnamida seemed to enjoy herself way more than usual, which is good considering it means she's doing better than she was before last time I saw her and it was great to see her smile so much!
Ingrid sakura_gts & Josy sojiro_chan and I and Maki getoutofmyband talked about many Jrock bands and loli clothing companies and missing Japan when in Montréal! LOL I always enjoy talking to you lively girls, your conversations are so much more interesting than my ex workmates' smalltalk!!! LOL
It was nice and everybody begged me to stay longer than 9pm I had said I'd leave by so I ended up taking the last bus then having to wait for a cab then I was home by 3am...I really enjoyed your company, but I'm so tired... But I still think I never see you guys long enough... I need to get myself a job and apartment in Montréal!!!
I also discovered on my arrival than pastlink had transfered management rights of the mtl_loli_order community to me so yeah, more responsibilities! :) LOL
