Comic Book Religion
I came across this one when I was looking for pages that discussed both Scientology and Objectivism (I'm interested in finding similarities between the two belief systems). It turns out that there are both Scientologists and Objectivists in comics.
Scientologists in comics (2 heroes, 1 villain, and 8 cameos and supporting characters)
Objectivists in comics (4 heroes and one character who switches from villain to hero and back)
As for the relatively favorable portrayals of Objectists, I blame credit one person--Steve Ditko. He created two Objectivist characters (Mr. A and The Question) that were the inspiration for a third (Rorschach). That's the majority of Objectivist characters in comics right there.
