I went to Edinburgh Castle tonight to see Blondie & Echo And The Bunnymen. The last time I saw the Bunnymen was on the Porcupine Tour, so it's been a while. Will Sergeant was still magnificent on guitar, and Mac was Mac, but the rest of the band didn't cut the mustard I'm afraid.
Debbie Harry is still gorgeous, and still a great performer. Chris Stein was improvising a lot - some of it worked, some of it didn't. Clem Burke was on top form. The bass player looked like the Hoff.
I took some photos, but I was about 50 metres back from the stage, jostled by people in yellow plastic ponchos and it was pissing rain. Some of which got into the camera and locked out the shutter speed, so they're not up to my usual standard - still you get the idea...
