Last night I'm driving home from school, it's around 10:30pm and I see a cop car. I'm thinking, "Okay, just a nightly patrol and all. Nothing to get nervous about," and continue driving. I'm about 2 minutes away from home, not paying attention to whose behind me, when all of a sudden a huge ass spotlight shines on my car and it's the cop! I'm thinking, "What the hell did I do? I wasn't speeding, or doing anything illegal."
I pull over to the side, nervous, and turn off my car. The cop comes over and asks me questions about how long I've had the car and if I've ever been arrested. I give him my license and after about a minute of freaking out, he tells me that the lights on my license plate are burned out. >.< I'm sitting here, thinking I'm in a stolen vehicle, and he tells me he shined the lights on my car just to read the plate number and warn me to get them fixed! Aaaaagh!
Eckhart saw Hell too. He said: The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of life, your memories, your attachments. They burn them all away. But they're not punishing you, he said. They're freeing your soul. So, if you're frightened of dying and... and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth.
Hey! Why aren't there any pictures of "Jacob's Ladder," besides the movie poster? That movie was scary and I want pictures dammit! Looks like I'm going to have to screencap it myself >.<
