Could anyone change the world really? I think people want to change. Deep down they know we are reaching a very unpleasant time in our history. It's more like tension. And if you look around you can see it's building. The news, the people, the paperwork. I think that all people are waiting for is a face to follow. God, I want to do something. I just don't know what. It's that tension. It's all been set up really. There is all this music and media that blatantly tells us whats wrong and people shake their heads and agree but do nothing. Because it is music and media? Maybe. Because it isn't a face. Or a name. "What's in a name? That which we call a rose is just as sweet under any other name." People follow a name.
I guess I'm just frustrated that we've all gotten ourselves into such a mess and don't know how to get out again. What can we do though? America stands there, tyranous as ever, and should we disagree theres always that chance that we won't be around come tomorrow. There is something very wrong with America. And I'm sure the Americans who can see what is happening must feel overwhelmed with the hate that the idiots there pull toward their country. What can they do?
The ignorance, the incompetance, the insignificance. In the words of Baz Lurhmann, "don't be reckless with people's hearts, and don't let anyone be reckless with yours". Well doesn't it just pull on your heart to see what's happening?
Anyway, on a more personal note, all's well with me. Uni's going fine, albeit a little stressful at points. However all my essays are out the way. Nice!
Good moo.
