Hmm. There's nothing quite like sitting in the den and listening to rain hit the roof.

Or hearing the thunder before the first drop falls.

Or going outside in the ninety seconds before the water pours from the sky to play Frisbee and chase your dog, and absorb the charge of the air.

I love rain.

I've been thinking of getting a cat. Over Labor Day, if I wasn't approved for the little Manx I was looking at a few weeks ago, I'll head down to the local shelter (which I just found out about) and get a cat.
