I have finished transferring chapter 1 of my story!!! I have two rl!betas set up to do a read-thru this weekend, and once they've weighed in with their thoughts, i will put some final polish on my baby, and the posting will begin! Cannot believe i'm so close! :DDD
In other news: i should have an appt next week with a dermatologist, who will be taking a look at(and biopsy) a small, black spot that has appeared on the skin of my chest. Initial exam by the doc who referred me, suggests cancer as the diagnosis, but the dermatologist will know more, of course. In this instance, it doesn't look like it should take much to remove it, as it is the size of my thumbnail and it's been caught fairly early. I had been worried about it since it appeared a few months ago-but my main fear was that it might be MRSA. Doc very much doubts it is, so i thank the gods for that!
More other news: Doc also Rxd an MRI for my back, so i can get the ball rolling on possible surgery(again)!!! With any luck, they'll be able to remove the last bits of calcified, ruptured disc(L5-S1) material, and bolt in one of those little replacement discs. Once that is done, maybe i can start working again! :D
