Wah!! Three days of non-stop studying later... and I feel as if I haven't made a dent in any of my readings :( There's a list of necessary and relevant readings I've made but every time I cross off one or put a check-mark next to it, the list seems to be adding another title at the end of the page. I've never felt so nervous for a test in my life but then again these finals will determine my whole grade for the whole class. Scary.
So in order to not scare myself and cry in a corner of woe, a friend of mine, Miso, came to visit me in London on her way back from her internship in Cannes :D We only got to have a late lunch but she did help me in my odd quest to find all of the elephants in London :) These were more or less all found in the same area.
The second and third pictures actually came from the same elephant. It's just that it had two different sides.
Miso is a friend of mine that I met while studying abroad here in London about 2 years ago. We even came from the same university, a fact that we found out a little too late. We've talked about how crazy it is to be back since neither of us ever really thought it could have been possible. I'm proud of her and amazed that she has been able to go to culinary school like she had wanted to a couple of years back. Even though she had finished uni with a degree in business econ, Miso had always wanted to be a pastry chef. So to find out that she was able to enrol and get so much out of that course must have been a dream come true for her. Even better, she was able to intern as a pastry chef's assistant at the Cannes Film Festival. I've seen what she can make and I can tell that she's happy doing it, so I'm wishing her all the luck in the world!
