Day 15: Favorite strategist

Forgive me if I'm repeating myself, but again Zhou Yu takes this title. I'm just hopelessly biased here.

Day 16: Favorite EX attack

To be fair, I have not yet gotten to play DW7, so my knowledge of this subject is somewhat limited. As in very. As in I'm not actually sure I can answer this question.

Day 17: Favorite outfit

Ohhh, this one is easy. My absolutely favorite outfit ever is Zhou Yu's outfit in 4. The entire game was the strongest in the series costume-wise, imo, but I just love Zhou Yu's white outfit. (Though I also love Lu Xun and Zhao Yun's outfits out of that same game. I also rather like Zhou Yu's dark alt in 5 and Cao Pi's DW6 and 7 designs.)

I've spent the last few days working on my brooches. I'm doing SuperS Super Sailor Moon, so they're based on the Crisis Moon compact. I decided to go with the untransformed version simply because it looks nicer, and more suited to the more elaborate design of SSM, imo. The transformed version just look so plain. (It is my firm belief that all cosplays can be improved with the addition of some glitter. Magical girls in particular. Also, the clay burnt slightly when I baked it due the the uneven heat in our oven (I didn't rotate it quite soon enough) but that was nothing a little paint couldn't fix, and I was going to use paint to highlight the wings anyway.)

I was cleaning up the sewing room today in search of thread, and on top of reorganizing all my thread I discovered that we have multiple bobbins of every color for some strange reason. We have bobbins for colors that I can't the corresponding spool to. We also have four seam ripper caps and ONE SEAM RIPPER. People who sew, do you also have problems with your seam rippers eloping? Please tell me I'm not the only one.

My dad (remember, the one who got me into DW) has started playing Samurai Warriors 3. Now, mind you, he's pretty terrible at it. I think the changes made in the last few Koei games are just a bit too much for him to handle (he still hasn't figured out how to use items). And he doesn't tend to notice when the game warns him that his general is in trouble, and I always have to tell him. But he's still managing to make it through some story modes. While he insists on playing on his own file (despite the fact that I have almost all the characters unlocked by now) he plays almost exclusively characters that I don't, so I'm getting to watch some stories I wouldn't otherwise see. The only overlap thus far has been Kiyomasa, so I got to sit there and listen to Idiot Trio banter while I was painting my brooches. Rewatching Kiyomasa's ending, I am now convinced that Sakon has got Mitsunari stashed away somewhere. The way they are all acting, there is no way Mitsunari is dead. SAKON IS TOO HAPPY. There's a little, teeny tiny bit of angst there, but nothing to convince me that he's dead.

I have been playing SW2:Empires, in the meantime. And man, I miss old Mitsunari. When he just snarked at everything that wasn't Hideyoshi or Sakon, and even then sometimes snarked at the former. Mitsunari's too nice now.

(I'm also attempting a reflector-only run of Okami (Divine Retribution only weapon permitted, no praise, sun fragments ok.) I just beat Crimson Helm without TOO much difficulty, so hopefully this is at least do-able. Not sure if I'll be able to get all the beads, though. (I can't even imagine facing the bonus bosses reflector-only. I could barely make it with the ultimate weapons and max stats.))
