RULES
1. Comment with a mysterious comment of your choice.
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Post the names of five fictional characters (beginning with that letter) and your thoughts on each.
donesschen gave me the letter Y. I had to think about that one for a while. There just aren't that many Y names in the world.
1. Yue Ying (Dynasty Warriors) - I'm not a huge Shu fan. I mean, they have their moments, certainly, but as a general rule I'm more of a Wuist. However, I really, really like Yue Ying. She's intelligent but still a capable warrior, and loyal to her friends. She is the kind of character I perfer in terms of strong women.. And her moveset in DW6: Special was ridiculous for crowd clearing.
2. Yuyuko Saigyouji (Touhou Project)- Cheerful but oblivious, Yuyuko is pretty upbeat considering all that has happened to her and the terrible powers she holds. However, she can at times reveal herself to be highly intelligent and calculating in spite of everything. She is generally nice to everyone, like many Touhou characters, though she has a bit of a silly reputation for eating everything in sight, including other characters (poor Mystia). Verdict: Like her.
3. Youmu Konpaku (Touhou Project)- Poor, poor Youmu. Putting up with Yuyuko's antics must be one of the worst jobs in the universe, but she does it unquestioningly and without too much complaint. She really does care about Yuyuko, though, and wants to look out for her. I like her. I'm not really sure EXACTLY why I like her, but I do. Plus, being half-ghost is pretty cool.
4. Yazoo (FFVII:AC)- when I was but a wee one (ok, I wasn't that wee) and the movie had just come out, I thought Yazoo was just the coolest thing ever, at least in that universe. I've always been particularly susceptible to pretty things, but I always preferred the quieter ones, too. To be honest, I don't actually remember enough about the movie to say much about him besides the fact that I liked him. It's been a long time since I watched it.
5. Yoshitsugu Otani (Sengoku Basara)- Another person who has to put up with a lot. It's a hard job, leading and army, helping to conquer a country, shoving food down your commander's throat, keeping said leader from killing everything in a 5 mile radius when it would be detrimental to your plans to allow him to do so. I have respect for him. I don't really like him, but I respect him.
Edit: God, this icon is hypnotic.
