(no subject)
Today I went out and bought Pokemon Black before my friends all disowned me. *sweatdrop* Usually it takes me about a year or two to get caught up to the current generation, but with everyone shouting "buy it, buy it!" ... I bought it.
Chose Snivy as my starter. Named her "Sunday." (Apparently, it was my lucky day. I got a female, restarted (because I'm stupid and didn't charge my DS before I started) and got a female again. If only I had this kind of luck with breeding Eevee.) No, I didn't choose Snivy just to make that pun... but it was an influencing factor. I mean, come on. You can't look at the Snivy line and tell me they don't resemble Motonari.
Right, so choose starter, against the advice of people who know better than me. She took out the first rival without difficulty, and then preceded to survive two crits from Tepig and retaliated with a crit of her own. Gentlemen, we have a winner. I suspect Sunday will be in my party for a long, long time.
Caught a Lillipup and named it Yukimura. Because it just looks like Yukimura. (Also caught a Patrat, named it "yousuck" and promptly stuffed it in the box never to be seen again. I am not a kind and loving trainer, contrary to what the game thinks. I do not want ugly, pathetic pokemon. I want only awesome/pretty/cute pokemon. I am a superficial trainer.)
Currently training Sunday and Yukimura for the trials of Route 2. (Sunday also took out N with no difficulty.)
Also, someone should be fired for "Xtransceiver."
