But not in that order.
The major icky parts of finals are over; I'm a good test taker, so I'm not really worried about any of the final tests in my classes. But projects and such are done (and my programing project got a 24 hour extension because our AI "misread" the due date and told us it was due a day later than it actually was. Several times. We got an e-mail from the professor a few hours after someone caught the mistake saying that we could turn in it "late" and not be penalized.)
I debated whether to wear lolita on my birthday this year; it's cold, and I would be in the studio for a few hours, even if I wouldn't be working. In the end I decided screw it, I was wearing whatever I pleased and if my kneecaps froze off, so be it. It was a brisk 2 degrees when I woke up, but I got all dressed up anyway. Since people have been asking to see pictures of my coords (and one person doesn't ask, but you squeal when you see them anyway. XD) have a picture. Like a lot of my everyday outfits, it's a weird mix of casual-sweet and slightly OTT sweet (My nails were sparkly with stars on them ^^). And my hair is a mess because it was cold and windy outside. >.<
Also, my extended family got together to get me a Wii as a combined Hanukkah/birthday present. I swore I wasn't going to set it up until after this week... and then my dad had to go and buy me SW3 as an early birthday present. -_- (I knew it was going to happen, since he'd been asking since I opened it last weekend what games I wanted for it, and the day it arrived as I was sitting there debating what present to open that night he was pointing at it and nodding. He likes video games, too. (He introduced me to Dynasty Warriors in the first place, actually. So this is all his fault. Blame him.)) I still got everything done... just not in as timely a manner.
So far, I've mostly been testing out the new characters; I played one battle with Hanbei (he still creeps me out. -_-), one with Oichi (definitely liking her new character. It's a nice balance between her two personalities from the past games, I think), and played all the way through Kiyomasa's story mode. All of this gave me enough rice to unlock the two Mitsu's, though I haven't had time to go play their story modes yet. Will probably do that after I post this. (Or I may pop in LoZ: Twilight Princess, which is the other game I got for it. I haven't played nearly as many Zelda games as I would like to. So many games, so little time...)
