"I have defeated an officer!"
So, after about a week of thinking and an hour of standing around in EB, looking at games and chatting with the employees, I have purchased a new system. I eventually got it down between a Wii and a PSP; both systems have games I want to play, but we have no practical place to put a Wii right now, so I have a shiny new used PSP.
I bought Strikeforce, of course, and FFVII: Crisis Core and Valkyrie Profile. Strikeforce is hard. >.< I'm learning, slowly, but it's been really hard for me to get a grasp on the pseudo-aerial combat. And while I have figured out the secret to most missions is to be properly equipped, it's hard to tell what equipment you need. It doesn't help that the game likes to be really cheap and gang up on you to a ridiculous degree. I'm stuck on the end of Ch. 2 because that stupid horse-dragon-thing likes to knock me out of the air and kill me before I hit the ground.
So I've momentarily switched back to Pokemon (and FFVII:CC). I've been playing Pokemon for 10 years; I can ace that! Speaking of which, I got a Dratini in my HeartGold game last night. Guess what I named my newly acquired dragon-type Pokemon? XD
I'm also trying to decide on my cosplay for Gencon, since I need to start working on that soon. I'm thinking either SW2 Mitsunari, Rival/"Silver" from Pokemon HGSS, or Basara Nohime.
