NO WAY OUT and some movies.

No Way Out was a pretty tiresome PPV all told, with nothing actively bad but very little in the way of memorable matches or moments- so, a typical WWE single-brand show, then. That said, having Lashley, Nitro, Jeff, Shawn and Cena on a Smackdown PPV makes a lie of that, eh?

In results: Chris Benoit and the Hardyz beat MNM and MVP in a forgettable chapter of the feud that will never die; Chavo Guerrero won the Cruiserweight Title in a Gauntlet Match which was fairly exciting; Finlay and The Little Bastard beat Boogeyman and Mini-Boogeyman in a surprisingly entertaining match; Kane beat King Booker in an unsurprisingly unentertaining match; London and Kendrick defeated Team Suck in Deuce and Domino's best performance yet; Mr Kennedy beat Lashley by DQ in an incredibly boring match; and John Cena and Shawn Michaels defeated Undertaker and Batista in a fun match after DAVE turned heel on Taker.

Weekend spent mostly watching movies: I've written about The Number 23, so go see. If you're reading this, chances are you know Team America: World Police in which Neil and Ralph Trey and Matt point out that terrorism is bad, but so is the US's boneheaded way of dealing with it AND actors trying to get involved with world politics.

Likelihood is you've also seen Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey as well, in which B&T get sent to Hell, learn that Death has a lot to learn about sportsmanship, and meet some gross Martian. Looking back, it's weird to think how quiet Alex Winter's career has been, since he was no worse than Keanu in the movie: that's what looking like an old shoe will do, eh? No such problem for his co-star, though, as Kathryn Bigelow's wankfest Point Break. Keanu plays an FBI agent sent undercover to learn surfing (and bone Lori Petty while he's at it), although his performance here suggests that he'd have been better off sent undercover to learn acting. Kurt Russell also stars, and a whole lot of machismo predictably happens until everyone dies.

Nothing planned this week: hope you guys are OK, and give us a shout if you feel like doing anything, I guess.
