How I rang in the New Year.
The Lady wanted to take her folks to the annual Possum Drop in North Carolina. I had forgotten that when we were talking about spending News Years Eve together.
It was cold and I was still wearing my office clothes as I had left pretty much straight from work to get up there to join her and her family for dinner. We ate ( I ate too much) and then went about 10 minutes from her home across the border to Brass Town North Carolina. Where PETA sued to try and stop them from dropping a live possum. Never found out what was in the box but I can say when they started to lower it at the end of the festival, a lot of deputies started to make their way towards the stage.
Anyway,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2012 was an interesting year to be certain. Bought a house, got into CID. Met Danae and moved on from the past. Hoping 2013 brings a lot of good fortune and luck my way.
