Tires and Turkey Day prep and Spell Bound.

Nov 22, 2012 00:03

So I finally found some time to go get my tires rotated and balanced.  I had that funny feeling in my gut telling me that it was getting close to time to pony up the dough to get a new set of tires and thus I was not too keen with actually facing that. Sure enough that's what happened.

So I ponyed up a pretty penny to get some A+ quality tires with a life span of 80,000 miles. Which pretty much gurantees and cements my plan to keep the car after my lease expires in two years.  Man, I wish I could work a second job but given the responsiblites I may be facing in the coming days ( still nothing offical from the powers that be) I know a second job will be out of the question.  Security work as well if I am going to be on call.

So family who reads this, please understand I am not a Scrooge, just money is scarce and I will have to get  "creative" this Christmas Season.

Went and got a turkey in which I will be trying my hand at making a Garlic Lemon flavored deep fried turkey this season. And of course, after the stupid calms down I will go back to Wal-mart and snag some discount turkies .

Spell Bound

Finished up the second book in the Grim Noir Series on Audiobook and as always, a fantastic read. Love this series. If you like Steam Punk  things which kick ass, then you need to get into this series.
