Nobody came. That made me sad. But! I cooked anyway. Unfortunately, I couldn't smell anything so I was afraid of overcooking the caramel and wound up not cooking it enough so it's still runny. Dusting it didn't help either.
But you know... they're still good. Just sticky. People should come by and taste them, because it would be real embarrassing, when asked how I spent my fall break, to say, "I made candy" and then "I ate it all myself."
Due to not needing eggs, though, I am probably going to be making them and bacon some time today. Probably as soon as aerin_pegadrak gets out of the shower and approves. Same rule applies as before, especially since I don't think we can eat all that bacon by ourselves.
