God's laughing at me on nights like these
So we're chillin' in Metropolis. I don't think much about this town. Hickpeople, rednecks...whatever. I was wrong. Derek and I decide to head to a local gas station to grab some cigs. You know I only smoke on what I consider special occasions. We buy the cigs and end up meeting this cat named Joseph but he calls himself Joe. He's a tall, lanky white cat with several tattoos on his arms and chest who is probably as skinny as me. We make small talk with him and end up hanging out with him. We meet his mom who is cool as shit when we head to his house. Definitely one of the coolest moms ever, but a bit unsuitable for parenthood. She made us feel right at home. We sneak a few beers out of the fridge and walk around the town a bit. We meet with a few of Joe's boys and some girls he knows who are really attractive. We decide we want to drink more and head back to his place.
His mom finds out Derek and I are 21 and decide to let us have some of her beer. She even gives us a proposition to screw this guy over in a drug deal for some money. My reply was, "No, we're good. We're on vacation." So the three of us head back around the neighborhood and watch the fireworks. Afterwards, we head back to his house and meet up with a girl he is talking to and her two friends. ENTER ROCHELLE. This petite redhead punk girl from a smaller town than Metropolis. We hang out with them and I talk to her while chilling at Domino's. She's really easy to talk to. We head back to the house and Joe and his mom get into it because she's wasted. They both get arrested and whatnot. A few people(some of Rochelle's folks) go to the police station to tell them more. I promise to take care of her and we talk more. I did not want to leave. Her girls come back and we exchange e-mail addresses. I kissed her goodbye and did not want to leave. Shit, I'm fuckin' hurtin now. I think the man above has a personal vendetta against me. Never thought I'd meet someone like her while here. And I can't stay around her. This sucks donkey balls.
