Doc Nick strikes again!

As you may know, Dr. Nicolas is my Biochemistry professor. Her exams all follow the same format: a 50-item multiple choice part and a 20-item problem solving part. The problem solving part always takes the form of a story, wherein the questions cohere to both the story and the lesson...

...I just noticed a trend, though... her stories... are getting weirder.

It first happened during our carbohydrates and lipids exam. She warned that she;ll be using a "story from our childhood", so we can relate. Come exam day, the story was about... Pinocchio. Yes, and it turns out that Gepetto can perform exhaustive methylation, among other biochemical analyses.

But this exam really made me facepalm/headdesk/WTFLOL.
a young half-human named Naruto was so strong that studies on his metabolic and genetic make-up were undertaken... It was found out that Naruto is a clone made up of human genome and the gene of a nine-tailed fox
What. The. Hell.
Yeah. I know. The following questions also included copious amounts of references to Naruto's ramen habits, and, of all things... Kage Bunshins... like, "Calculate the number of moles of tryglyceride required to produce enough energy to produce two kage bunshin". Yeah... and most of the questions are essay-type, so I felt really silly putting the words "Naruto", "kage bunshin", "nine-tailed fox" and "phosphorylated enzyme" in the same sentence.

Doc Nick... is so cool. I wanna be just like her.

Which leads me to think... what will the final exam story be about? Bleach? TSUBASA? CODE GEASS?!? XD it leaves me to wonder...

"The biochemical mechanism behind the power called 'geass' is unknown. Lloyd Asplund, a britannian researcher, studied two individuals: Lelouch Lamperouge and C.C., and found out that certain enzymes that control eye coloration were mutated, and hence give forth radiation..."

(this will be the first time you will see me put the tags "biochem" and "anime" together.)

upism, anime, crack, biochem
