Shingakunet game~
Frankly one of the most amusing games you'll ever play, Shingakunet is a sims-like educational game which takes place in a volcanic island which can be terraformed to suit sustainable human habitation by following a sequence of engineering feats such as electricl engineering, computer engineering, civil engineering, applied chemistry, aeronautics, architecture, environmental engineering, and mechanical engineering. Each of these must be placed into the maximum level (either by humans or by aliens) in order to complete the game.
When you do max all the levels of the engineering feats by human hands, you get a utopia:
But if you let the aliens take over and conquer the island (first they turn you into an alien which will turn your family into aliens and then you'll get cloned by the aliens, which is really disturbing but amusing), you get... this:
note the crop circle on the left hand side and the brain where the computer should be.
...and of course if you neglect your environment, you'll end up cutting up the forest, making computer viruses which will destroy the city, leading to its destruction by the volcano. Like this:
(honestly, I can't think of a worse ending).
