I will strangle ignorance. I am justice.
reaction to the posts of Leya and Gidget.I say the alumni should do something. Allow me to justify.1.) We are GRADUATES and as graduates we carry the reputation of the school beyond its walls. As such, if the school falls, so does our reputation. Ergo, we wouldn;t have much of a pride left if "Padre Faura High School" comes into fruitition. The maroon within me is clamoring for action (and that's saying something, I usually keep him locked up).
2.) These are the future members of our society. Granted, that they may not be as *ahem*brilliant as the previous batches, they have the right to be able to fully get the education the institution can give. Otherwise, they won't have an edge when they reach college. Heck, being an alumnus didn't even grant me a huge edge back in my first year of college. A tiny one, but an edge nonetheless.
3.) The ignorant people who forced the changes do not know of their sheer ignorance and must be taught because ignorance is bad and ignorance should be stopped at all costs. I hate ignorance. In fact I use the word a lot to emphasize how much I hate it. Ignorance Ignorance Ignorance. MAGSAWA KAYO SA KAKASABI KO NG IGNORANCE NAASAR AKO, OKAY? So if the administration will not stand up for it, who else will but the alumni?
4.) as Leya and Gidget (who will be now referred to as "marchofthepigs") have pointed out, THIS IS A SPECIAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL with a SPECIAL SCIENCE CURRICULUM. In short, by having the system changed by no less than the ignorant parties, there will be no science high school left to begin with. It is now a science high school by NAME and not by PRACTICE. EH PANGALAN LANG PALA ANG HABOL NIYO PARA MASABING MATALINO YUNG MGA STUDYANTE EH. If you really want your children to be acknowledged as intelligent and capable, prove it. I myself want mascians to be intelligent and capable THROUGH HELL AND HIGH WATER. I'm loyal to my alma mater, I'll be sincere wherever I will go and fight for her like fighting for my country as a true Filipino. As such, I want mascians trained in the ways of hell, mainly because KAWAWA SILA PAGDATING NILA NG UP. Yun lang masasabi ko.
