CLASSICAL BALLET ACADEMY BRINGS THE NUTCRACKER TO LIFE FOR FAMILY AUDIENCES IN A FULL-SCALE PRODUCTION
Holiday Tradition Continues with Aspiring Ballet Professionals -
WHAT: With Sugar Plum Fairy, Candy Canes and Arabian Princesses, the highly acclaimed Classical Ballet Academy’s 2008 production of The Nutcracker is back for the fourth consecutive year to delight family audiences. Danced by pre-professional CBA students from throughout the greater Portland metro area, the sell-out production includes professional costumes, extravagant sets, fresh choreography and a few surprises.
WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 6th 2:30 p.m. matinee and 7:00 p.m. evening performance Sunday, Dec. 7th 2:30 p.m. matinee
WHERE: St. Mary’s Academy Theater 1615 SW 5th Avenue Downtown Portland, OR
TICKETS: Tickets are available online at www.classicalballet.net. Prices are $10 for seniors 65 and over and children under 9; and $15 for youth and adults. Tickets will also be available at Classical Ballet Academy, 7970 SE Milwaukie Avenue, located in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. See website for times.
