Echoes in a Big, Empty Room

I have not updated my journal in ages. And, of course, most of my last few updates were horrendously depressing. So, in celebration of having someone new to read my writings, I am posting this. Hello Livejournal! I can't say I've missed you much but that's only because I view you as a forum in which to express those pitiful emotions and frustrations I normally feel too self-conscious to reveal in real life. As of late, I've being itching to start a blog in which to avail myself of a forum of my peers to read, criticize, laugh at, or otherwise mock my constant stream of random thoughts. I even welcome the trolls.

Expect another update sometime today, possibly a political commentary with a 65% chance of sarcasm and a spattering of vitriol in the mid-afternoon.
