blergh
went to this party down the road last night. got a bit too wasted. actually some quite embarrasing stuff happened, but the worst thing of all was not realised till next moring. alas because i was very wasted and had been an 'ickle bit sick i decided to wander home for a half hour rest to sober up a bit. i staggered into the house and made the best sobering drink i could think of (diet vanilla coke) and stumbled upstairs. my dad asked me why i was back so early and also said i looked ghastly, but this doesn't really have much relevance. anyway put the drink on my desk and went to lay down. after half an hour i got up, feeling a little bit refreshed and reaced for the drink accidently knocking it over and spilt it over the desk, books papers soaked, had to move them quickly. also on this table...my dads laptop. i moved it thinking maybe i just splashed it. came back next morning went to use said lap top realised it had been quite drenched along with every thing else, hadn't bothered to mop it up thinking it was nothing and i think the coke had seeped into the computer...it died on me!!! so i'm there shitting myself wondering what i could do, cos i'm sure this would be something my dad would be quite pissed off about even though he doesn't use the thing much anymore. so i take out the battery and stuff and theres coke on the bottom of it that was inside. i open the back and check the motherboard and stuff but they seem quite dry. put it back togehter and it still not working. eep. so i just decide to leave it for a while, check it in a few days, maybe it would have dried out. i mean i'm the only person who actually bothers to use it these days really. no fate is never kind like this. my brother now wants to use said laptop and ignores my attempts to get him to use main pc (which i'm using). but it worked! it worked! i'm saved yay. damn what an anti-climax.
anyway most embarrasing moment - early evening, bit pissed already go to use upstairs toilet, nobody tells me there's no lock, nobody tells me there's somebody in there. walk in on the host's girlfriend. (hides face in embarrasment) could then not use the toilet for about 40 minutes after.
2nd - got a bit exposed by certain people.
but i think generally a good night. shouldn't drink so much whisky in future though
