Okay, RL update time!
First of all, I got a new job at Toys R Us that I'm PSYCHED about! I will buy so many action figures with my discount, ahaha. XD
PAX was AMAZING, of course!
As far as panels, we made it to The Basics of Good Game Design, Mega64, Infamous 2, Wil Wheaton! and In(die)credible: The Best New Games You Haven't Played. They were all pretty fun, but my favorite had to be Wil Wheaton. :D He is so funny and sweet and I just love him. AND he said he was going to be on TBBT at least one more time! Eeee, I am excite. :D
I got some hands-on time with Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Rock Band 3. I loved the way they were like "Oh, you can only get a shirt/poster/whatever if you play the game." to which I go "UM YES AWESOME". All the games were SO pretty and fun. I was most excited about MvC3 and New Vegas, which were sufficiently AWESOME. MY MVC3 TEAM WAS DEFINITELY DEADPOOL, CHRIS REDFIELD AND DANTE. ♥ Seriously cannot waaaait for those games. :D
As far as swag, I was sad that I missed out on the New Vegas shirts. :( Though, I did get an Infamous 2 shirt, a Rock Band 3 shirt, a Brink shirt, a Hunted: The Demon's Forge shirt, an Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood poster, a Fallout: New Vegas poster, and a bunch of magic cards. Pretty good haul! :D
And then there is the stuff I bought. I got Castle Crashers phone straps (a ram for me, puppy for pallorxmortis and a bat for Ryan) from PAX, which are so omgadorable, I love them. :D We went to a comic shop too where I got a 'A leaf on the wind: Wash is my copilot' license plate frame (which I just put on my car today and I LOVEEE IT) and a Tardis mug (THE TARDIS DEFINITELY DISAPPEARS FROM EARTH AND APPEARS IN SPACE WHEN YOU POUR IN HOT WATER :D).
Other than PAX, we went on a tour of Seattle and to the Pacific Science Center, Seattle Aquarium, Digipen, Pike's Place Market and the Space Needle. It was all awesome, and Seattle is a freaking AMAZING city, especially to a country girl like me. XD There are mountains and water everywhere! And bike trails on pretty much every single road! So awesome. :D
The tour of Digipen was so freaking exciting. :D It's a really nice school, and I want to go there sooo bad. ♥ I loved the course description she gave me for one of the anatomy classes they offered which was "You just draw skeletons and muscles all the time!" and I was all "YEAAAHHHH". Andand she said Valve has hired two teams of their graduates, and that's my DREEEEAM.
AND NONE OF THIS AWESOME WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT MY BB pallorxmortis! :D
