New Sonic Title, More Whining and a Response
Hey, a new journal entry! :D
Well, now I want you to read this. It deals with Sonic 4's announcement recently. It's cross-posted from my DeviantArt account, but with a tweak.

Well, I may be a little too late to respond to this storm, but it had to be said, anyway.
Just recently, Sega and Sonic Team announced the title of the game, codenamed "Project Needlemouse." It's titled "Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1."
But instead of joy, we see even more complaining. And believe it or not, it's NOT the modern fanbase whining. It's a lot of the Classic fanbase getting their knickers in a twist. From the Sega forums, YouTube, and DeviantArt. It's just moaning, moaning, and more moaning.
The reasons?
1. The gameplay being "Rush-esque" while Sonic rolls up a hill and runs through a corkscrew like in Sonic 2.
2. The Homing Attack (a Modern Sonic element) included into the game while no one knows how the level layouts will affect the HA usage.
3. The model. Yes, the MODEL. The Modern Sonic design is in the game instead of the Classic one.
And everyone -- especially in the Classic community -- has thrown such hissy fits over this, calling the game a "failure" already and have bashed Sega to Hell. Oy, vey. So much anger over petty issues.
Well, after reading these fits, I went ahead and did a counter-rant: a reply to their B&Ming.
