Fuck, my standard dropped 1 point since last tourney, from 1468 to 1467. Quick rose from 1419 to 1421 though. GAWD. I need to start playing in the Gambitos on Saturdays opposed to just these damn underrated scholastics. arg...
On another note, apparently Jana is rated only 965 standard, and she was 2nd to last in that tourney i was also in. I'm slightly worried about the team this year. Philip and I have continued to either not improve at all, or more likely, actually got worse. Max is becoming a pretty strong player, which is good. Matt and Peter worry me in their inconsistent play. Jana, i thought she was ok from what ive seen, but, she's far from the level that Jack played. Ryan might play this year, but his games are even more inconsistent, varying from practically my current level of play to complete crap. It feels like two years ago was the only chance to get first, and we blew it. I so need to get back to the game and study. This 1468 is unsatisfying, considering ive had up to 1700-1800 performance before.....gawd. Do i have tiiime though? with college shit, can i really just waste hours every day studying chess?? Prob not.
