(no subject)
It took 12 hours to get from Michigan to Maryland today. There was a bottleneck of holiday travelers in the entire state of Pennsylvania, and it spilled over into Maryland too. And we had to go drop Judy and David off at BWI to pick their car up from the airport. We only stopped 3 times. Twice just for gas (but I peed), and once for a crappy dinner at Roy Rogers. Yes, I am aware that a normal person would have had a lunch, but a normal person also doesn't spend 12 hours straight in the truck with Judy and David either.
Justin didn't get any sleep last night at all, because after Stacey went home (~2am), he was starting to get ready to sleep on the couch in the basement, and Cousin David came in. And stayed up til 7am. With Cousin Joel (EEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!). So Justin went upstairs to sleep on the new couch in the Living Room. But that wasn't a pull-out and it was too short for Justin. And the noises in the Basement (Joel) kept him awake. :( I slept alright, but not nearly long enough. So I'm going to bed now, but I have to be up by 8, drive Justin to the Metro, go to the vet for special Diabetic Food, and then go to work. I won't get home til at least 8pm. :( Sad clown. I think I'm too exhausted. I don't want to be a bad cat mommy, but I think I'll pick up her food on Tuesday instead. The Vet already thinks I'm a complete flake, and I wouldn't want to change his perception, right?
