I Love LotR!_!
Just got home from the back to back to back Lord of the Rings fest at the Riverview. It was tons of fun^_^ I left my house at 7 this morning, got to the Riverview at 10am, and just got home at 11pm. I love this theater because its packed full of this big community of happy, nerdy, crazy people. Plus no one stares if you dress up. Also neat is the booing, cheering, clapping, and laughing at various points in the films without lots of people yelling shut up at you. The costume contest was fun. I didn't win, but it was still fun. The ring wraith guy got second place (great costume) and first place went to the most adorable 6-7 year old dressed as an elven warrior person. She won tons of stuff, including a weekend pass to the SF3 convention thingy featuring several people including John Noble and Billy Boyd^_^. The best part of the costume contest however, was when the group of young hobbits got up and did Merry and Pippin's dance and song routine. They did it very well. Well...i'd better go now. I didn't get that much to eat and i am starving and hot (pleather pants don't breathe). LA^_^
