I have a very quick question would a character becoming an addict and showing what happens when only one person notices but no one will listen and what follows be considered going down the dark path?

Did the addiction happen in canon?

Then, yes, I think it would work.

I have a few questions:

1. I am unsure how much time I have to devote to this bang due to other commitments. The sign ups require we pick a level to aim for. If I sign up and say micro (5,000) but end up with a story that is complete at 10K or 25K instead am I just stuck with a micro sign up and not eligible for art?
2. We have to have our story plotted before sign-ups to know the fandom and how it is a dark path. So, what if when I go to write it, it isn't working out but I have another idea from a different fandom that would work. Am I just out of luck and unable to finish since I couldn't do the story I originally signed up for? Or could I switch and deliver a different story in the end, maybe a different fandom, maybe a different idea within the same fandom?
3. For art, you list how many pieces are required for each level but what is eligible for art? Does it have to be drawn by hand or stylus? Or do digital manips count? Collages? Icon sets? Scene breaks? Banners? Covers? Playlists?

Thanks. I love the idea of this bang.

1. Oh, no, certainly not. If you are reasonably sure that it will raise in level by the time art claims open, just let us know that it's done so.

2. As long as it is a completed story and your artist has enough time to deliver art for it, then write whatever it is that works for you.

3. Digital manips, traditional pieces, icons, banners, covers, and playlists (with art) all count. As for collages and scene breaks... let me consult with my other mod to be sure on those.

I hope this help, and I hope you join us!

Does the story have to diverge from canon or can it be completely AU? The plot will still be dark but it doesn't have canon elements, like it's a completely different setting for the fandom.
