Fuck you, seasonal changes
What a wonderful time of the year. It's chilly outside, everything glistens with a coat of ice and snow, people frantically run around trying to find gifts, people slowly go insane due to lack of sunlight and suicide rates skyrocket. It's hard for me to despise winter, since I love the cold weather and snow. But it sure is hard to like something when it makes you miserable every day.
Looks like everyone is getting the same thing. It doesn't help much that teachers tend to like to pussy foot around for the first month, then when everyone's in complete agony, hit them over the head with 20 page essays and critical grades. It's all too overwhelming. But I hope to pull through without too much emotional scarring. I've mainly turned to techno for comfort. Trance to go to sleep to, and Trance to wake up to (god bless Pandora). I just hope my little "vacation" doesn't cost me my somewhat decent marks in my classes.
